FAQs
Do you provide introductory courses for people who have never used Axure RP Pro before?
Yes, absolutely. Please see our Courses & Consultancy page. Do you provide courses for people who are already Axure RP Pro users and who want to take their skills to the next level? Yes, absolutely. Please see our Courses & Consultancy page. Are all of your trainers practising UXD/AI/Usability professionals? Yes, absolutely. This is how they can explain how Axure RP Pro is used on real projects and pass on invaluable ‘tricks of the trade’ that are only learned through real project experience. Do you provide on-site training in organisations? Yes, you just need to provide a suitable room and computers. If you have your own projection facilities that helps but we can bring our own if required. Do you run public courses where anyone can attend as an individual? Yes, periodically. These will be advertised on this web site. How can I pay for a public course? We accept payment by PayPal or cheque (with time to clear). Please ask about payment details when you make an enquiry or contact us and we will give you our payment details. What happens if a public course is cancelled? AXTrainers does its best not to cancel courses, but unfortunately we may sometimes have to cancel a public course if there are insufficient delegates or there is a problem with the venue. In these cases you would be notified at least 5 working days in advance and given the choice between a full refund of course fees or a free place on our next available public course. AXtrainers liability is limited to the course fees only. Please see our Terms & Conditions. What is your cancellation policy for on-site courses? You can cancel an on-site course up to 10 working days prior to commencement of the course by eMailing us. After this point you will be liable for the full cost of any course booked. Please see our Terms & Conditions. Do you charge extra expenses for on-site courses? There may be a charge for travel and expenses depending on the location of the course. Usually we will charge for travel, accommodation and evening subsistence if delivery of a course involves more than 1.5 hours travel from our offices. How many delegates can attend each session? The maximum is 8 per session and we prefer at least 3 people to attend if possible; this ensures there is good discussion and learning from colleagues. Will each delegate need access to a computer to do the training? Yes, our training involves a lot of hands-on work. On public courses we would encourage you to bring your own laptop; however, we can usually make PCs available upon request. Is it necessary to own a copy of Axure RP Pro in order to get training? No, you can download the fully functional evaluation version of Axure RP Pro (valid for one month) to use with your training. Indeed, you can use our training sessions as part of any evaluation of Axure RP Pro. How much do course cost? Please see our Courses & Consultancy page for pricing information. Can you provide a course anywhere in Europe? Yes, but please note that all of our courses are presently delivered in English. At this point we are unable to deliver courses in any other language. Courses may also be subject to an expenses fee. Can you provide a course outside Europe? Possibly! Please contact us if you have a training requirement outside Europe. However, please note that we do not operate in the US. If you require training in the US please contact evantage – Axure's approved training provider in the US. I have a specific problem and/or training requirement with Axure RP Pro, can you help? Probably, please contact us and we can arrange a custom consultation and/or training session.
